Llane Alexis is a multidisciplinary artist and designer based in Oaxaca. Originally from Havana, Cuba, he began his artistic career as a painter in 1997. Working primarily with textiles, emanating from the waste of the fashion industry, his process combines braiding, weaving and hand-stitched techniques, transforming off-cut, unwanted fabric scraps into functional goods and objects.
